Recently I was tasked with writing a paper on the belief if Web 2.0 has progressed to Web 3.0. Here is my conclusion:

Lake Tahoe

Travel Info

I have now managed to ski on two different mountains. We had a great time at Heavenly Ski Resort at Lake Tahoe. My parents toured the town and saw the sites while Dave, Lori and I skied on the mountain. We all had a blast and continue to get better at skiing. I am now solid on blue ski trails and feel in complete control of my movement. Using some of the new skills I have learned I have made a flash movie of where I skied on the mountain. You can view it online at http://www.csonka.net/skiroute.html. I will make a new album in Dan's Gallery this weekend with pictures from the trip.

Super Bowl XLII

Events Info
The Super Bowl this year was one of the best, and will probably be one of the all time classics I will get to view on ESPN classic when older. This game might have been foreseen in 1998. The Denver Broncos of 1998 with John Elway, Terrell Davis, and Coach Mike Shanahan, 3 of my favorite and most positive guys to ever play the game, were 13-0 and well on their way to a perfect season. This is the only team I personally wouldn't have minded to stand along side the 1972 Dolphins.

The 13-0 Broncos were set to play the 5-8 New York Giants. The Giant's coach had written a message on the white board leaving the locker room. It said 3 simple words, "Shock the World". I don't know if those words are still there, but on that day they shocked the world by stopping the Broncos from a perfect season, and have continued to do the Dolphins work for them. The world is shocked with the win over the Patriots.

I normally don't look at the random records television officials bring up, however, there are some pretty interesting ones with the New York Giants team of 2007. The Giants are the first EVER in the NFC to be a wild card team and make it to the Super Bowl. The Giants are the first EVER to be World Champion and only have 1 person going to the Pro Bowl next week. The Steelers in 2005 were the wild card team for AFC and won the Super Bowl. This means within the last 3 seasons 2 world champions came from the wild card, something that has only happened 3 times before in the history of the NFL.

Random Small Misc. Stuff
You might not like the lack of detail here but I will try and give a lot of information about what has been going on.

1. My football teams are doing ok, my school managed to put out a win on ESPN.
2. The Halloween Party was amazing, friends that were hosting spent around 500 dollars on decorations. I will try and get the picture up of my costume.
3. I had fun in Miami for a short visit with Paul, Gloria, Alexa, and Paul Andrew. Also got some play time with Leopard, the new Mac OS.
4. Classes going better, exams coming up next week, homework already here this week.
5. Looking forward to seeing family this weekend as well as homecoming fun.
6. Probably over foot of rain in last 4 days. Looks to continue overcast and light rain all week. Good news however, cold temperatures in sight!

P.S - I don't recommend costumes with capes, always feels like someone is tugging on your shoulder, and gets stuck in door entering and exiting the car. Yes happened to me 3 times.

Football Begins

School Info
UCF Home football marked the beginning of the new stadium. It is a very nice stadium, simple, medium size, and good location. It was very easy to park on campus and leave to get home. We ended up losing the game by only a few points. This was a big statement from the UCF team, since we were a 19-point underdog, finishing 3 points down was great. The Texas coach was quoted saying he will never open a stadium with a home team again because of how hard much encouragement it brings. Anyways I am happy football is underway. So far all my teams are doing good, FSU might be little shaky, but UF is looking better then thought.

New Apartment Finished

Random Small Misc. Stuff
Well the final edition to the apartment is complete. My roommates got a 40-inch LCD HD television from Wal-Mart at a very low price. To our surprise we found out we receive some HD channels for free. I have already enjoyed watching football and NASCAR racing in HD. The television has also given more time for all of us to get to know each other as we spend time in common room rather then the bedroom. I have been feeling very sick past couple days, however think the worst has pasted. I will be attending the UCF Home game in the new stadium next Saturday. Look for my next post the day after the game! Go Knights!

Moved in and classes beginning

School Info
Well I am moved into my new apartment. While it was not fun moving everything to the third floor, it will pay off as we will receive no noise from outside and above. Also we are facing many trees and on back side of building so traffic at night won't affect me. My roommates are great guys, interesting enough we seem to be the only guys on this floor. I guess I need to meet my neighbors! Ready for classes to begin and parents to clear out. Everything is crazy right now. There is three times as much traffic and people shopping for students because parents are in town. Look forward to seeing everyone this weekend as well.

Visit from Alexa

Events Info
While in Estero, Gloria, Paul, and Alexa visited last weekend. It was great to see everyone again and play with the little one. Everyone is doing great and the little one is saying a few words. Alexa enjoys to look at animals and even wanted me to hold her up to one of the many fish tanks in the house. Alexa then pointed at a fish and said, "Fish". I replied, "yes". I look forward to seeing her and others again later this month.

New Mac and other news!

Computer Info
Well I finally joined the Mac family. I got a new MacBook couple days ago. I have been setting up all the programs that will make many tasks simpler. Such as one program to check all my email accounts, and one program to funnel all my instant messaging into one. I am pretty much finished setting up the main stuff now into personalization of favorites, quick links, and the dock.

The family trip to visit Dave was very well planned. Everything was fun and the weather didn't stop us from doing anything. I played paintball week ago as practice for this weekends paintball bash. Wish me luck, as I probably will replace my fading sunburn and bruises with new ones!
