The Super Bowl this year was one of the best, and will probably be one of the all time classics I will get to view on ESPN classic when older. This game might have been foreseen in 1998. The Denver Broncos of 1998 with John Elway, Terrell Davis, and Coach Mike Shanahan, 3 of my favorite and most positive guys to ever play the game, were 13-0 and well on their way to a perfect season. This is the only team I personally wouldn't have minded to stand along side the 1972 Dolphins.
The 13-0 Broncos were set to play the 5-8 New York Giants. The Giant's coach had written a message on the white board leaving the locker room. It said 3 simple words, "Shock the World". I don't know if those words are still there, but on that day they shocked the world by stopping the Broncos from a perfect season, and have continued to do the Dolphins work for them. The world is shocked with the win over the Patriots.
I normally don't look at the random records television officials bring up, however, there are some pretty interesting ones with the New York Giants team of 2007. The Giants are the first EVER in the NFC to be a wild card team and make it to the Super Bowl. The Giants are the first EVER to be World Champion and only have 1 person going to the Pro Bowl next week. The Steelers in 2005 were the wild card team for AFC and won the Super Bowl. This means within the last 3 seasons 2 world champions came from the wild card, something that has only happened 3 times before in the history of the NFL.

While in Estero, Gloria, Paul, and Alexa visited last weekend. It was great to see everyone again and play with the little one. Everyone is doing great and the little one is saying a few words. Alexa enjoys to look at animals and even wanted me to hold her up to one of the many fish tanks in the house. Alexa then pointed at a fish and said, "Fish". I replied, "yes". I look forward to seeing her and others again later this month.

The new Transformers movie is the best action movie I have ever seen. All across the board it was amazing, jaw dropping, and beautiful. This movie has the humor, action, and story that sky rocketed science fiction movies when Star wars first came out. I expect science fiction movies to be changed for decades by this movie. I am able to find one scene that went on a little long, when the transformers hid around the house as the parents searched for the noise. The last negative I have to say is that the camera does shake a lot more then Star wars movies. I think the action is more physical and rough then the normal lightsaber and laser blasting fights in Star wars. This can make the movie hard to really focus on the action, however it makes you feel as if you are running with a camera trying to film and be apart of it yourself. So that can be negative or positive for different people. For as much as this movie has to offer, the pace, high/low drama, comedy, and realism all are the best seen in a decade at least.

On Friday afternoon I drove over to Titusville and Space View Park to watch the Shuttle launch from couple miles away. I encountered an unforeseen problem when I attempted to take pictures of the launch. I was so close to the launch site that taking pictures with the digital camera and its shutter delay forced me to guess ahead of the shuttle's path to capture it. While I still felt the night launch was more impressive, the added effect of booming sounds for 5 minutes was a nice added touch.

I saw the third Pirates movie yesterday and it was great. It wasn't perfect, a questionable beginning of movie, and what I thought to be too long of a duration in the "dead zone" (white matrix like twilight zone). Besides those two minor delays the movie has something for everyone. The movie has good action, good effects, good humor, romance, and good plot. I believe this is the first summer movie to be better then both it's prequels.

Today is my mom's birthday. Dave and I called Paul and then attempted a speaker phone connection for a 4 way call. Covering the corners of Florida we wished her a happy birthday. Besides that for me there isn't very much to report.
I saw Shrike the third as they are calling it, it is ok. I didn't feel it was as good as the second or first. There was less humor and more serious of a "good lesson" teaching younger children. The next movie coming out is the next Pirates movie, look for it to be good.

Everything has been very busy for me the last couple weeks. First I had to drive back and gather myself for a new semester. After moving all my stuff back that I kept with me during my month vacation, I discovered many broken electronics in the apartment. As a Csonka, this will not do. After spending over 7 hours fixing TiVo and an hour figuring out the problems with the network, everything is back working. Then I had to get into gear making my schedule work. Something perhaps I need to be more proactive about.
Give me a second to catch my breath typing this. After that, then I had to get into the class frame of mind, get to class then do work. As I am typing this my homework is finished, the electronics are working and I am probably going to take a break playing around with friends. That is why I have time to finally update my website. Pheeew, look for updates once a week now that I am caught up.

Well I am back from Denver, or should I say Breckenridge. It was a great trip, look for pictures soon. I need to get everything organized first. I also have another semester coming up, sigh. I will update more in the New Year, I promise. Happy New Year 2007!

Merry Christmas everyone. I have been busy with family and decided not to be busy updating website. Uncle Bob visited us in Estero and joined us for a visit with Gloria and Paul in Miami. Everything was wonderful, and now we prepare for the Denver trip.

Well the parents visited me for my Homecoming Football game. It was UCF vs. East Carolina a school both my parents attended for short periods. It was great to see them and tried my best to make it a relaxing easy weekend. The game was entertaining, no stress, no issues with people in the stands, only wish is that UCF would have won. We had perfect weather for the weekend, which left with the parents. Today was very cloudy and with rain all day made it very hard to stay dry.
