On Friday afternoon I drove over to Titusville and Space View Park to watch the Shuttle launch from couple miles away. I encountered an unforeseen problem when I attempted to take pictures of the launch. I was so close to the launch site that taking pictures with the digital camera and its shutter delay forced me to guess ahead of the shuttle's path to capture it. While I still felt the night launch was more impressive, the added effect of booming sounds for 5 minutes was a nice added touch.
